We know that its not easy for them and they don’t have other options rather than to be in the streets. Some are in the streets because of the things that are happening in the families. They think being in the streets is the right thing to do.
Abuse reasons why youth become homeless
Some of young people who are homeless they went to the street because at home they were going through abuse. They made a decision to be homeless because they were tired of being abused. And no one was believing their story, that’s why they are on the streets.
Running away reasons why youth become homeless
Others is because they ran way from home, they have disagreement with the parents then they took a decision to run away from home and be homeless. Because they did not want their parents to discipline them.
Being kicked out of their homes
Some they found themselves in the streets because the parents told them to get out of their houses because they were not respecting them or taking drugs in the house while the parents are in the house.
Financial hardship
Also financial hardship can make someone to be homeless, others decide to leave struggle and diseases behind them. They know that when they become homeless they won’t stress about school fees, bills and etc, the only thing they can stress about is food.
Death of family member
Death is so painful and some people can’t handle it well, they end up deciding to leave home and be homeless. Because they feel like they are alone no one cares and they can’t continue with their normal lives.
In concluding, 5 reasons why youth become homeless. We must help young people who are homeless, because they did not choose to be like that. We have to encourage them not give up and they must go back to school because they are still young.
