Impact of job creation in South Africa roughly 7 million people unemployed in South Africa. The country’s unemployment rate was 27.6% in the first quarter of 2019 having risen by 0,5% from the fourth quarter of 2018. The Quarterly Labour Force Survey for the second quarter.Reports that there are 6.7 million unemployed people in South Africa.
The reason given by the survey states that “the increase in the unemployment rate is a result of a decline of 237 000. In the number of people in employment and an increase of 62 000 in the number of people who were unemployed. Between the fourth quarter of 2018 and the first quarter of 2019.
The survey further reports, of the 20,3 million young people aged 15-34 years, 40,7% were not in employment. Education or training (NEET) – an increase by 1,8 percentage points compared to the fourth quarter of 2018. “
We clearly have a problem with a sharp incline in our unemployment rate and we can expect an increase in number of the homeless. This is why job creation is so important.
Unemployment
Impact of job creation in South Africa sustaining jobs to bring down South Africa’s high unemployment rate is the most important task facing the government. President Cyril Ramaphosa said while addressing the National Council of Provinces.
As far as the responsibility of job creation is concerned. We agree with our President to a degree because we believe that. Job creation is also the indirect responsibility of every citizen of a nation. And the direct responsibility of the private sector. We believe that any company allowed to operate within a border of a nation should contribute to Social Development projects. And Economic Development (E.D.) projects, and we are positioned to ensure that the contributions made are used effectively to the benefit of the intended purposes.
One of our projects is the Job Center and this department has various functions. Mainly, we give assistance to job seekers so that they can get their employment documents in order. We also register them on a database that is easily available to prospective employers. However, this is not enough to help the unemployed. We need to create jobs for them with the assistance of the public who also needs to be involved in job creation projects.
Economic development
Our main ED (Economic Development) project is the heartbeat of the Foundation because this project will finance all our operations. Including all our SD (Social Development) projects. We intend to generate revenue from our E.D. agricultural project using various business strategies. We want to rapidly develop our infrastructure base to be able to accommodate as many beneficiaries as possible for. The purpose of coping with the increase of people who need help. This will also include various homeless people such as the street homeless. The homeless in shelters, or those who are near homeless. Within our project, various jobs will be created. Revenue generated will be used to create new ED projects that will also generate revenue and create jobs.
We develop business plans, and we also invite Beneficiaries to submit business plans. And should we find the business plan to be suitable.
Purpose of impact in job creation
We will proceed to put that business plan in place for the purpose of creating jobs. At best we would want to empower the disadvantaged by directing them through channels to get business skills and to become entrepreneurs.
We have the attitude that we would rather train people to empower people. Than just simply empowering them. Even the simple task of empowering them needs support. Please contact us to volunteer.
